Why did I call the brand FORMATION?
Originally I was thinking of naming the brand something else.
However, after speaking with a friend who’s good at this kind of thing, I reassessed the name.
The first idea was outcome focused, that is to say it represented the resulting state of going through the work involved.
I might still come back to the other idea but until then it will remain private.
Anyway, that chat made me rethink what I wanted the brand name to convey. I decided that I wanted the name to emphasise the process rather than the outcome. The idea is that the process drives the result and so I wanted to ensure I wasn’t putting the cart before the horse.
The process is all about laying foundations, creating structure, instilling discipline and putting the building blocks in place to become fitter, leaner, stronger.
Then, the word formation came to mind which I feel captures more or less exactly what I want it to do. I capitalized it, found a font that I think fits the idea and the brand was born.
